His work moves between film and the page, with a focus on Africa and beyond, exploring how societies change, how people build, why some places thrive while others struggle, and what we can learn from the world around us.

About Ziyad
He is the host of The Paths We Take and the author of Saving Africa. His work sits somewhere between storytelling, history, culture, economics, and everyday human experience.
Based between Abuja and wherever the next story begins, he is currently working on a new documentary series and his second book, Conscious Adoption.
